About the role

  • Strategic Partnerships Manager at stp.one building partnerships for digital transformation in the legal industry. Engage in market intelligence and advocacy in LegalTech ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strategic national and international business and technology partnerships
  • Identify, recruit and onboard new strategic partners for the STP Group
  • Expand our solution portfolio through innovative collaborations
  • Drive joint go-to-market activities and define business plans with alliance partners
  • Support Sales on joint customer projects and hold regular partner meetings
  • Coordinate internal teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success) for successful partner initiatives
  • Represent STP in industry associations, expert committees and with political stakeholders
  • Maintain an active presence at LegalTech events, conferences and innovation networks
  • Build relationships with thought leaders and decision-makers in the LegalTech ecosystem
  • Analyze market trends, competitors and regulatory developments (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act)
  • Develop an alliance strategy framework aligned with the company strategy

Requirements

  • Market and industry knowledge (must-have)
  • Deep understanding of the German and international legal market (law firms, court administration, in-house counsel, notaries, insolvency administrators, tax advisors)
  • Solid knowledge of the LegalTech landscape: trends, innovations, leading providers, business models and market dynamics
  • Understanding of legal workflows and pain points—ideally through legal education or long-term experience in the legal sector
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, BRAO, EU AI Act, etc.)
  • Existing networks within the LegalTech ecosystem are a plus
  • Experience in channel and strategic alliance management
  • Experience in B2B sales of complex software solutions (LegalTech experience advantageous)
  • IT affinity, SaaS expertise and understanding of API integrations
  • Experience in public affairs or association work desirable
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel for networking events and team days on-site in Karlsruhe (approximately 2–5 days per month on average)
