About the role

  • Senior HR Business Partner supporting leaders and employees for multiple business centers at Stantec. Engaging in business conversations to foster a highly engaged, inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively partner with clients to identify strategic issues
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders
  • Practice effective relationship management with internal client groups
  • Demonstrate and effectively scale HR generalist disciplines
  • Serve as a workforce champion and promote a positive work environment
  • Facilitate trainings as needed
  • Foster a continuous improvement mindset
  • Collaborate within a geographically dispersed team
  • Work collaboratively with functions such as HR service representatives and talent acquisition

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of related work experience
  • SHRM certification is preferred
