About the role
- Clinical Nurse providing hands-on wound care at Stanford Health Care facilities. Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes while performing nursing duties within California standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care to patients practicing within the Scope of Practice of the California Nursing Practice Act
- Perform all steps of the nursing process including assessing patients, interpreting data, planning, implementing, and evaluating care
- Coordinate care with other providers and teach patients and families the knowledge needed to manage care
- Monitor quality of nursing care provided and contribute to the profession of nursing through teaching and sharing expertise
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
- CA-RN (Registered Nurse)
- Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) strongly preferred within one-year of hire
- 12 - 24 months' RN wound care experience
- Able to communicate effectively in English
