Responsible for managing assigned accounts in the Sherbrooke area, providing technical service and developing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Manages an assigned account, or a group of accounts, with primary responsibility for creating value for assigned customers through the technical service provided
Identify new product opportunities and sell to existing customers
Maintain and grow assigned business relationships
Review programs and processing procedures within the territory accounts
Ensure effective applications through testing and regular follow-up
Sell new business and new applications within your territory
Work closely with the broader sales team to understand business requirements and market needs
Manage account profitability and build a sales pipeline
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (science or other technical degree)
3 to 5 years of industry experience (pulp and paper preferred; tissue is an asset)
Proven track record in resolving complex, non-routine technical problems
Project management experience with complex projects
Strong relationship management skills
Experience learning new concepts and/or technologies and applying them
Ability to work independently and lead/mentor indirect reports
Experience working with multiple levels of an organization to achieve results
Strong verbal and written communication skills
