About the role

  • Responsible for managing assigned accounts in the Sherbrooke area, providing technical service and developing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manages an assigned account, or a group of accounts, with primary responsibility for creating value for assigned customers through the technical service provided
  • Identify new product opportunities and sell to existing customers
  • Maintain and grow assigned business relationships
  • Review programs and processing procedures within the territory accounts
  • Ensure effective applications through testing and regular follow-up
  • Sell new business and new applications within your territory
  • Work closely with the broader sales team to understand business requirements and market needs
  • Manage account profitability and build a sales pipeline

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (science or other technical degree)
  • 3 to 5 years of industry experience (pulp and paper preferred; tissue is an asset)
  • Proven track record in resolving complex, non-routine technical problems
  • Project management experience with complex projects
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Experience learning new concepts and/or technologies and applying them
  • Ability to work independently and lead/mentor indirect reports
  • Experience working with multiple levels of an organization to achieve results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
