Responsibilities
Provide clerical support to managers, employees, and customers
Secure the office during regular business hours to ensure no unauthorized access is granted
Greet guests and direct incoming calls to appropriate associates
Manage mail distribution and flow of correspondence
Maintain inventory of supplies
Process travel arrangements, make and reconcile purchases, and maintain company records
Plan and organize philanthropy and company events.
Ensure facility is stocked with office supplies, neat, and secure.
Maintain a clean and organized office supply, copy/fax area, and conference room area
Answer and screen telephone calls
Compose and type routine correspondence and documents as required
Arrange conference calls and meetings, take minutes, and provide refreshments as needed.
Train to be backup for NASA badging
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
One year of administrative assistance required
Two or more years of experience preferred
Current driver's license, proof of U.S. citizenship or proof of authorization to work in the US
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Detail-oriented, effective time management and organizational skills required.
Must be flexible and able to adapt to different work tasks.
Professional personal presentation.
Requires effective relationship management skills with co-workers in a team environment and with customers and suppliers.
