About the role

  • People Operations Specialist providing HR support at Silver Air in Santa Barbara. Responsible for recruiting logistics, employee onboarding, and HR process coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate offer letters, employment agreements, and onboarding documentation for new hires
  • Support new hire onboarding, including paperwork collection, orientation scheduling, and system setup coordination
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases within Rippling (HRIS) and internal systems
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications, and recruiting logistics through Pinpoint (ATS)
  • Assist with benefits administration paperwork and employee support inquiries
  • Help manage HR documentation, compliance files, and personnel records
  • Maintain internal People Operations workflows and tracking systems in Monday.com and SharePoint
  • Coordinate internal meetings, interviews, and team calendars for the People Operations department
  • Assist with employee communications, HR announcements, and document distribution
  • Order and coordinate team lunches, office supplies, and basic office support needs
  • Support general administrative tasks for the Chief People Officer and People Operations team
  • Ensure data accuracy, organization, and operational consistency across HR systems and records

Requirements

  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and documentation quality
  • Highly organized; able to keep files, records, and databases clean, structured, and consistently updated
  • Strong administrative discipline with the ability to track tasks, follow up on loose ends, and maintain operational order
  • Excellent at managing paperwork, forms, onboarding packets, and HR documentation with precision
  • Comfortable maintaining and auditing employee records, recruiting data, and HR systems for completeness and accuracy
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple administrative tasks and deadlines
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills when coordinating with candidates, employees, and leadership
