About the role

  • HR Business Partner handling recruitment and employee integration in a manufacturing environment. Supporting managers and employees while promoting a healthy work culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle and onboarding of new employees.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail when drafting contracts and other HR documents.
  • Develop attraction and retention strategies tailored to the manufacturing environment.
  • Provide compassionate, dedicated support to managers and employees.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative and respectful work environment.
  • Handle sensitive situations with rigor and empathy.
  • Contribute to workplace health, safety, and well‑being.
  • Participate in performance management, training, and talent development.
  • Support compensation, pay equity, and benefits processes.
  • Ensure legal compliance and rigorous maintenance of HR records.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and encourage innovation in HR practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role; exposure to the U.S. market is an asset.
  • Membership in the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines and/or the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is an asset.
  • Practical knowledge of ADP Workforce Now.
  • Knowledge of Canadian labour/employment laws.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to manage multiple files/projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Bilingual (French and English) required to collaborate with our American and Western Canadian partners.
  • Payroll processing knowledge is an asset.
