About the role
- Senior Programme Manager leading Waste Treatment Delivery Team for Severn Trent, overseeing £1.2bn capital programme and 200+ projects. Leading an integrated team to deliver projects on time and budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead an integrated team to deliver portfolios and programmes of work within Severn Trent’s Capital Investment Programme
- Lead a team of project managers and Assistant Project Managers
- Work with key stakeholders to deliver assigned projects to time and budget
- Continuously challenge and innovate to improve performance
- Provide robust leadership to enable design, procurement and construction of multiple projects
- Nurture the development of your team and their success
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully leading the delivery of large, complex and multi-disciplinary projects
- Extensive experience of managing a disparate set of stakeholders at all levels to deliver on programme objectives
- Experience of leading programme teams of internal and external resource to deliver high risk, high complexity and high value projects
- Extensive experience of working closely with a supply chain to deliver
- Proven track record in developing high performing teams
- Strong background in delivering financial and operational success
- Dynamic and collaborative individual with excellent communication and influencing skills
- Strong ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds
