About the role

  • Program Manager in Quality Management Office overseeing operational planning and performance measurement for the City of Hamilton. Leading quality management initiatives and coordinating strategic projects within Public Works.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of professionals in the Quality Management Office
  • Develop performance measurements and reporting frameworks
  • Champion quality management practices and oversee operational planning
  • Support development of service level measurements and performance indicators
  • Monitor and report on program progress and develop positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Manage and control contractual documents and coordinate contract activities

Requirements

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Program Management, Engineering, Sciences, Quality Assurance, or Operations Management
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in research, data collection/analysis, and metrics
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Python, Tableau, SQL, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Facility Management is an asset
  • Strong leadership and guidance skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management and Quality Management principles
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred
  • Valid Class “G” Driver’s Licence
