Responsibilities
Identify greenfield prospects across a defined US Federal Government portfolio.
Develop those prospects into a pipeline and work with the revenue team to convert these prospects into net new opportunities and clients.
Strive to continuously improve your sales process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices
Build your pipeline by completing lead generating activities including cold calls, emails, and social touches
Understand customer goals, plans, challenges, timeline, budget, and authority
Requirements
Have experience working for – OR – have a proven track record selling software (preferably a SaaS solution) to the US Federal Civilian Departments and Agencies.
Ability to effectively work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders from entry-level employees to C-suite executive
Self-motivated with ability to work in fast paced, changing environment
Genuine customer empathy
Organized and strong time management skills
Excellent written & verbal communication
A thirst for knowledge and growth in a start-up environment
A sense of urgency and persistence
Ability to get or maintain a US Security Clearance
