About the role

  • Lead Account Management Team at renowned SaaS company providing cloud-based POS solutions. Drive retention, growth, and process optimization for improved client relationships in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the team: You lead the Account Management team, coach your colleagues, and foster a motivating high-performance culture.
  • Ensure retention and growth: You make sure existing customers are optimally supported and, together with your team, identify up- and cross-selling opportunities to sustainably expand accounts.
  • Manage pipeline and forecasts: You keep an eye on the entire pipeline — from new customers to existing accounts — and ensure that targets such as MRR and KPIs are reliably met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with Sales: You work closely with the Direct Sales team and ensure that the handover of new deals into long-term partnerships runs smoothly.
  • Optimize processes: You improve existing processes, tools, and best practices in Account Management to manage customer relationships efficiently and scale them.
  • Manage strategic accounts: For large deals or key brands, you take an active role yourself and support your team in complex negotiations or partnerships.
  • Develop team performance: You analyze your team’s pipeline, forecasts, and activities and provide targeted feedback, for example through call reviews or demo feedback.
  • Develop strategies: You create new strategies to unlock revenue potential within existing accounts and further grow long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Leadership experience in Account Management: You have already led an Account or Customer Success team and understand how to motivate teams and drive strong results.
  • SaaS or tech background: Ideally you have experience in industries such as software, SaaS, cloud, e-commerce, retail tech, or hospitality tech.
  • Leadership & coaching: You bring a strong coaching mentality and actively develop people.
  • Results orientation: You understand how teams achieve goals together, manage KPIs, and create sustainable growth.
