About the role

  • Assistant Project Manager (Apprentice) gaining hands-on experience in construction project delivery with RLB. Working on ambitious projects while developing skills through mentorship and training.

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience supporting the delivery of construction and property projects from inception through to completion.
  • Support the development of project plans, schedules, and delivery strategies.
  • Help track progress against programme and flag risks or delays.
  • Learn how to identify project risks and support mitigation planning.
  • Work with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Help with meeting preparation, actions, document management, and governance processes.

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, project‑focused environment
  • A clear communicator who enjoys working with people
  • Curious, organised, and eager to learn
  • Able to multitask with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Interested in developing expertise in construction project management
  • Minimum Grade 4/C in English and Maths
  • 96 UCAS points (or equivalent Level 3 qualifications)
  • A genuine interest in construction, the built environment, and project delivery
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and meet apprenticeship funding requirements.
