About the role

  • Project Manager overseeing facilities operations and maintenance under DAWSON's EPA contract. Responsible for contract management, compliance, and effective service delivery with a strong focus on quality.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the EPA Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officers Representative (COR), and other designated Government officials
  • Provide overall management, supervision, coordination, and execution of all contract requirements in accordance with the PWS and applicable task orders
  • Plan, schedule, direct, and control facilities operations and maintenance activities across multiple EPA RTP facilities
  • Ensure compliance with all contract requirements, safety standards, quality control procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Oversee staffing, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and allocation of resources to ensure effective and timely service delivery
  • Manage performance of key personnel and site staff to ensure consistent, compliant, and high-quality execution of work
  • Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of required management and quality control processes
  • Monitor contract performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as required
  • Coordinate preparation, execution, and closeout of task orders in accordance with contract requirements
  • Ensure required reports, documentation, and deliverables are prepared accurately and submitted on time
  • Maintain effective communication with DAWSON leadership, site personnel, subcontractors, and EPA stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience with responsible oversight of maintenance and operation of large or multiple facilities with highly complex mechanical, electrical, and structural requirements, including construction management
  • North Carolina General Contractors license
  • Demonstrated experience managing facilities operations and maintenance contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity
  • Proven ability to manage personnel, schedules, subcontractors, and multiple concurrent work activities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface with Government personnel
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
