About the role

  • Key Account Manager overseeing customer accounts in the DACH region for an international company. Focusing on customer relationship management and collaboration with sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage key account customers
  • Prepare and follow up on collection, listing and promotional meetings
  • Draft and prepare tailored customer offers
  • Serve as the customers' competent point of contact (by phone, in person, e-mail, trade shows)
  • Actively participate in national trade shows
  • Work closely and cooperatively with the field sales team
  • Coordinate and monitor customer promotions in collaboration with sales management and the field sales team
  • Communicate and align with internal stakeholders
  • Prepare reports for sales management

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in business administration
  • Initial experience as a Key Account Manager or in a comparable position, preferably in the consumer goods sector
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently and structurally drive multiple ongoing projects
  • Sales aptitude, strong service orientation and negotiation skills
  • Confident user of MS Office 365
  • Target- and result-oriented working style, team player, and very good German and English language skills
