Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel this role will be responsible for providing regulatory and contractual support to ensure The Wave projects alignment with Queensland Rail's RNSL obligations
- This pivotal role will provide expert legal advice, navigate complex legal issues, and contribute to strategic decisions that shape the future of Queensland Rail
- Engage with a diverse array of legal issues, from corporate governance and commercial law to regulatory compliance, employment, and competition matters
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Rail Safety National Law and related legislation, obligations and frameworks
- High level of analytical skills to design, develop and implement governance strategies, policies, procedures and technical standards
- High level of influencing, interpersonal, consultation and communication skills that build and sustain productive relationships and partnerships
