About the role
- Senior Legal Counsel providing corporate and commercial law support at Novaspace, a leading consulting firm specialized in space and telecommunications sectors. Collaborating with teams to identify legal risks and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to structuring and continuously improving internal legal processes
- Identify and manage legal risks and ensure compliance
- Handle corporate and commercial law matters
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts (service agreements, partnership agreements, subcontracts, NDAs, etc.)
- Support the preparation of proposals in response to tenders/calls for tender
- Provide legal advice to internal teams in the context of client engagements in France and internationally
- Analyze regulatory and legal issues related to the space, defense and telecom sectors
- Provide occasional support in assessing regulatory challenges related to the space, defense and telecommunications sectors
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Law or equivalent
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a law firm, consulting firm or international company
- Strong expertise in corporate and commercial law
- Prior exposure to the space, defense, telecom or high-tech industries is a plus
- Excellent analytical, drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility
- Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
- Professional fluency in French and English (written and spoken) required
