About the role
- Legal Advisor consulting companies and creditors in insolvency issues. Supporting insolvency proceedings and developing reorganization strategies in a significant company.
Responsibilities
- Advising companies, managing directors and creditors on insolvency law matters
- Supporting insolvency proceedings (regular proceedings & self-administration)
- Drafting insolvency plans and restructuring/recovery concepts
- Developing and implementing restructuring strategies
- Negotiating with creditors, investors and other stakeholders
- Conducting litigation in insolvency-related disputes (e.g., insolvency avoidance actions, director liability)
- Maintaining and expanding an independent client portfolio
- Contributing to the development and expansion of the firm’s insolvency practice
Requirements
- Strong legal skills and sound commercial/business understanding
- Relevant professional experience in insolvency law
- Solid knowledge of insolvency administration, restructuring and turnaround advisory
- Ability to manage mandates independently
- Existing client portfolio
- Entrepreneurial mindset and commercial awareness
- Strong negotiation skills and a professional presence
- Structured, solution-oriented and team-oriented working style
