About the role

  • Business Development Representative generating new opportunities for Qevlar AI, focusing on B2B sales and relationship building. Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to enhance outbound strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate pipeline through outbound outreach (email, calls, LinkedIn, events)
  • Identify and qualify potential customers within our target market
  • Engage and build relationships with key stakeholders in cybersecurity and IT teams
  • Personalise outreach messaging based on prospect context and use cases
  • Experiment with and optimise outbound strategies, messaging, and tooling
  • Represent Qevlar at industry events and conferences
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product to align on ICP and messaging
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in the CRM

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in B2B sales or business development (B2B SaaS preferred)
  • Ideally based in New York, or the East Coast area
  • Proven ability to generate leads and book qualified meetings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and objection handling
  • Business-level English
  • Interest in cybersecurity and AI (prior knowledge is a plus, not required)
