About the role

  • HR and People Coordinator supporting operations and maintaining HR processes at Pole Star Group. Involves administration, compliance, and employee engagement in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate employee records in our HRMS (BambooHR)
  • Preparing contracts, offer letters and HR documentation
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding administration
  • Managing right to work checks and compliance paperwork
  • Tracking probation reviews and key HR deadlines
  • Supporting documentation required for ISO and audit purposes
  • Posting job adverts
  • Coordinating interviews
  • Managing candidate communication
  • Supporting offer and pre-boarding documentation
  • Collating payroll changes for submission
  • Supporting benefits administration
  • Maintaining absence and holiday records
  • Supporting engagement surveys and feedback processes
  • Coordinating training bookings
  • Supporting appraisal administration
  • Helping maintain HR policies and documentation

Requirements

  • Previous HR administration experience
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using HR systems (experience with BambooHR desirable)
  • Working knowledge of UK employment basics
  • Confident communicator who can build positive relationships
  • Able to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) (Stuff we’d love, but isn’t essential...)
  • Experience in a growing SME
  • Experience working in a compliance-focused environment
  • Experience working in a hybrid role
