Responsibilities
Lead and develop the HR team through clear direction, coaching, and accountability across all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, talent management, learning & development, payroll & reporting, and engagement.
Design and maintain career pathways, compensation bands, and performance metrics to support retention and growth of top talent, as well as firm profitability.
Oversee all aspects of recruiting, including job design, proactive sourcing, and structured hiring practices that strengthen the firm and our team.
Support a culture rooted in high standards and core values.
Ensure compliance with all employment laws and firm policies, and identify and manage risk proactively.
Manage conflict resolution and sensitive personnel matters with professionalism.
Ensure accurate payroll execution and efficient benefits administration.
Continuously improve workflows and identify technology, automation, or AI tools that enhance the HR function and maximize firm resources.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior management or director-level role
Strong personal initiative - a self-starter who acts promptly and with a sense of urgency
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with strong attention to detail
Excellent organization and project management skills
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent computer skills and an ability to leverage new software quickly
Proficiency in the use of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
Proven ability to manage a team and deliver business results
Strong sense of accountability, both for themselves and the team they lead
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, or similar certification.
