About the role
- HR Generalist providing support in all HR functions for Church & Dwight’s manufacturing and distribution facilities. Ensuring compliance with HR policies and conducting recruitment and employee relations activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support in all HR and administrative functions within the department and for management staff
- Act as an employee advocate and ensure compliance with the company’s human resources policies and appropriate government law and regulations
- Facilitate the Staffing Process and work with department Manager / Supervisor to maintain needed staffing levels
- Perform recruitment activities including writing and posting recruitment advertisements, conducting interviews, and recommending candidates for open positions
- Conduct investigations and recommend and review supervisory recommendations for corrective actions, performance improvement and terminations when necessary
- Maintain company job description documentation and organizational charts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required
- Minimum of 5 years previous human resources generalist experience required
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite, Windows-based applications)
- HRIS software experience required; Workday preferred
- Excellent organizational/time management skills
- Strong degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to provide and sustain a strong level of customer service to the organization
- Minimum 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SPC certification preferred
