About the role

  • Sales Director responsible for growth in Financial Services accounts at Persado. Leading complex sales cycles and building partnerships with national banks and fintechs.

Responsibilities

  • Own growth across a defined set of Strategic Financial Services accounts, including national banks, top regionals, fintechs, and card / co-brand issuers, building pipeline through a mix of self-sourced efforts, integrated campaigns, and business development support
  • Close initial “starter” engagements and deliberately expand them into enterprise-level, multi-year partnerships across channels, teams, and business units
  • Lead complex, consultative enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders across Marketing, CRM, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, and IT**Articulate Persado’s value as a strategic AI platform for regulated marketing, earning trusted-advisor status with senior and executive stakeholders
  • Partner closely with Solutions Consulting, Product, and Client teams to develop business cases, pilots, and expansion strategies
  • Maintain strong pipeline discipline, including accurate forecasting, deal inspection, and strategic account planning

Requirements

  • 10+ years selling SaaS into Financial Services / Banks at top / senior levels to the Marketing groups and core growth Business Units (consumer lending, mortgages, cards, deposits)
  • Solid experience with selling MarTech/AdTech/RegTech ecosystems, targeting digital marketing strategy for Financial Services via acquisition / engagement programs
  • Ability to manage complex net-new logo deal cycles with C-level engagement and multi-stakeholder coordination
  • Strong storytelling ability for both technical and business audiences, especially C-suite stakeholders
  • Good experience leveraging GenAI daily for productivity in research, preparation and client facing communications
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, dynamic environment and adapting to evolving customer needs
