About the role
- Backup Analyst role at Penso Tecnologia implementing and supporting backup solutions for clients. Responsible for high complexity support ensuring data protection and continuity of clients' businesses.
Responsibilities
- Implementation of backup projects for new clients
- Manage backup environments for Penso's clients
- Provide support via the Service Desk tool
- Provide support via phone or video conference when needed
- Document activities in the Service Desk tool using agile methodologies
- Represent Penso to clients through support channels
- Update and create procedures in the knowledge base
- Monitor clients' data load throughout the project
- Monitor backups for priority clients
- Maintain impeccable professionalism and conduct.
Requirements
- Implement backup environments for physical and virtual machines
- Perform installation, configuration and remote support of the backup solutions provided by Penso
- Prepare configuration, health and performance reports for backups
- Support sensitive data restoration situations for clients and partners
- Identify and escalate software fixes and improvements to the vendor
- Basic administration knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Fundamentals of computer networking and the TCP/IP protocol
- Familiarity with Service Desk and IT Service Management
- Security-minded and follows best practices
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Ahsay and Veeam backup environments is desirable.
