About the role
- Solution Architect leading design and delivery of Azure services for Pearson's educational platforms. Collaborating with teams to create scalable and secure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture Design: Lead the design of end-to-end solutions on Azure.
- Solution Option Analysis & Cost Estimation: Work with business analysts and product owners to evaluate multiple solution options.
- Technical Leadership & Governance: Serve as design authority throughout delivery.
- Support Delivery Teams: Collaborate with delivery teams to interpret and implement architecture designs correctly.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with product owners, business analysts, and external partners to refine requirements.
- Vendor Oversight: Work with third-party delivery teams, reviewing their architectures.
- Documentation & Planning: Produce system diagrams and implementation roadmaps.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Monitor industry trends and evaluate new technologies.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all solutions comply with Pearson’s security and data privacy standards.
- Lifecycle Support: Support implementation teams from development through deployment.
