Responsibilities
Drive growth by selling Equinix solutions to expand existing accounts, focusing on large domestic and global enterprises.
Lead strategic account planning, manage complex multi-region/multi-metro sales cycles, and coordinate extended sales teams through negotiations and solution delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Conduct quarterly business reviews and lead executive briefings to identify new opportunities.
Develop and execute global, multi-line-of-business account plans. Research customer business landscapes to uncover priorities and align solutions.
Identify customer needs and deliver tailored Equinix solutions. Present and adapt pitches for C-level executives, leveraging internal and external partners.
Monitor opportunities in Salesforce, forecast accurately, and prioritize accounts for short- and long-term growth.
Lead commercial negotiations and renewals to protect revenue. Utilize internal resources to optimize deal structures and terms.
Mentor junior sales professionals, lead special projects, and share best practices across the team.
Requirements
5–7 years of B2B enterprise sales experience in IT, telecom, or data center environments
Proven success in managing global accounts headquartered in Germany
Deep understanding of industry challenges and digital transformation trends
Strong network with decision-makers in large enterprises
Experience collaborating with channel partners and leveraging industry associations
Existing relationships in Content & Digital Media and Cloud & IT Services verticals preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proven track record in enterprise sales and global account management
Native German and Fluent English
