About the role

  • Sales Executive at Carelon driving growth by directing sales and retention strategy in healthcare services. Building relationships and articulating solutions for clients with behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with leadership to identify sales opportunities
  • Understands all aspects of the business and partners with executive leadership to define strategy
  • Establishes, builds, and nurtures executive level relationships at targeted accounts
  • Articulates and introduces specific solutions to new customers
  • Establishes and maintains a high level of visibility within industry groups
  • Translates strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects priorities, and timelines
  • Collaborates with and influences product development strategies
  • Identifies, pursues, and closes net new opportunities and accounts
  • Develops strategies and executes sales plans to achieve membership growth and financial goals

Requirements

  • Requires a BS/BA degree in related field
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience to include senior sales experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in strategic planning
  • Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of health plan market strongly preferred
  • Travels up to 50% to other locations as necessary
