About the role

  • Group HR Specialist managing European payroll processes and HR operations for P3, a leading logistics provider. Ensuring compliance and driving process improvements across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate monthly payroll processes across multiple European countries
  • Lead payroll provider transitions and implementation of a global payroll solution
  • Act as the main point of contact for external payroll providers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Review payroll inputs (attendance, variable data, changes) and validate outputs
  • Continuously optimize payroll processes and ensure standardization across countries
  • Perform HR administrative activities including:
  • Onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Preparation of employment documentation (contracts, amendments, terminations)
  • Maintenance of employee records and HR databases
  • Act as HR generalist support for selected countries, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations
  • Ensure data accuracy and proper documentation in line with internal policies
  • Proactively monitor changes in local labor legislation across assigned countries
  • Assess impact of legislative changes on HR policies, payroll, and employment practices
  • Collaborate with external legal and payroll advisors to ensure compliance
  • Support GDPR compliance and HR-related audits
  • Support administration and coordination of compensation and benefits programs
  • Participate in benchmarking, updates, and harmonization initiatives across countries
  • Ensure accurate reflection of C&B elements in payroll processes
  • Work actively with HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and usability
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and digitalization (paperless initiatives)
  • Propose and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and employee experience
  • Actively participate in and support projects related to:
  • Payroll transformation and harmonization
  • Legal and compliance updates
  • Compensation & benefits initiatives
  • HR process standardization and automation
  • Cooperate with:
  • External payroll providers and consultants
  • Legal advisors
  • Internal stakeholders (HR team, Finance, Office Coordinators)
  • Ensure effective communication across countries and functions

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of European payroll processes
  • Knowledge of labor law principles across multiple jurisdictions (with support from external experts)
  • Analytical mindset with focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Experience with HRIS systems and process optimization
  • Ability to work in an international, matrix environment
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-focused
