About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize the product backlog: Create and maintain a clear view of the product backlog, prioritizing the most important features and requirements for the product's success.
  • Represent the voice of the customer for your squad: Understand customer needs and expectations, translating them into product requirements and features.
  • Communicate the product vision: Communicate the product vision to the development team, stakeholders, and others involved in the project, ensuring everyone is aligned.
  • Define business rules: Responsible for defining business rules through negotiation with product, technology, and stakeholders in order to translate them into user stories for the development team.
  • Accept and validate deliveries: Verify that the features delivered by the development team meet the requirements and expectations, accepting or rejecting the deliveries.
  • Manage the value stream: Prioritize features that generate the most value for customers and the business, ensuring that product development aligns with the company's strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in fields such as Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related areas.
  • Experience in managing digital or software products, preferably at technology or financial companies.
  • Certifications in areas such as Scrum, Kanban, or product management are desirable.
  • Strong adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies: Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or other agile approaches for project management.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Miro and JIRA.
  • Backlog management: Ability to create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Specification writing: Ability to specify complex ideas clearly and concisely for both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Requirements analysis: Ability to analyze and translate customer needs into specific product requirements.
  • Data analysis: Proficiency in requirement elicitation techniques such as interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
