About the role

  • Payroll Specialist responsible for timely and accurate payroll processes for multiple clients. Collaborating with clients and maintaining records to provide excellent service and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with client representatives and other Payroll Specialists to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into payroll systems for timely payments.
  • Maintain payroll records for multiple clients with accuracy and excellent customer service.
  • Process payroll-related matters and client-specific payroll reports.
  • Resolve client and system problems.
  • Establish positive working relationships with clients and coworkers.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • FPC or CPP preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Specialist II, or ability to demonstrate mastery of Specialist II functions
  • Vast knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to wage and hour, wage garnishments and taxes
  • Experience providing multi-state/multi-payroll service for large client groups.
  • Advanced PrismHR and/or iSolved system experience is preferred.
