About the role

  • Content Designer improving clarity and usability of educational guidance. Working within a multidisciplinary team to support public sector clients on teaching quality and pathways to QTS.

Responsibilities

  • Improved clarity and usability of guidance for stakeholders across the education sector.
  • Present proposed changes to the 2-school rule so the policy intent is clear.
  • Improve guidance for AO in SEND settings.
  • Support schools, teacher training providers and wider stakeholders to understand updated criteria and guidance.

Requirements

  • Strong experience as a Content Designer, ideally within government or public-sector digital teams.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex policy or operational information into clear, user-focused content.
  • Familiarity with GOV.UK style, content standards and accessibility requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with user researchers, policy teams and SMEs.
