Directly manage individual projects from early to late development phase (including overseeing planning condition discharge, grid liaison, contracting).
Controlling the risk management process, development budget and programme delivery.
Set the contracting strategy for projects.
Tender and negotiate all supply, EPC, ICP and O&M contracts in accordance with OEGEN requirements.
Manage a range of advisors including technical, legal and planning service providers.
Work closely with development partners to ensure the quality of the projects within the pipeline and support in optimisations.
Assess the quality / skill sets / risk appetite and judgement of our development partners.
Improve the success rates and timelines for projects reaching the start of construction.
Support the board directors and fund managers in right decisions on projects’ progression through development stages.
Participate in steering committees, investment committee presentations and board discussions.
Focus on value maximisation through right project-level optimisation and progress/fail decisions.
Cultivate strong and productive relationships with developers, funds, and other stakeholders to facilitate the successful delivery of objectives.
Requirements
Extensive experience in developing renewable energy projects with a particular emphasis on the later stages of development.
Strong project management and technical background.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging and influencing a diverse stakeholder group.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or related fields.
Senior management experience in the renewable energy or related sectors.
Proficient in project management, and data and reporting.
Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills.
