About the role

  • Manager, Talent Advisory overseeing HR operations for Dentons in Calgary. Key responsibilities include employee relations, policy implementation, and talent planning.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees HR operations and processes for the Calgary office
  • Manages one direct report (Talent Coordinator)
  • Provides advice, guidance and/or coaching on employee relations and sensitive HR matters
  • Drives the annual performance management and compensation review process
  • Cultivates positive working relationships with all Dentons members

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
  • HR designation is an asset
  • Five plus (5+) years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist or advisor role
  • Previous experience working with an HRIS, preferably SAP SuccessFactors
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven track record of leading through change and adversity
