About the role

  • HR Technician responsible for acquisition of talent, employee integration, recognition, and HR communications. Position requires a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support talent acquisition activities, including drafting and posting job advertisements across various channels, screening resumes, preselecting candidates based on job requirements, conducting phone or virtual interviews, and participating in in-person interviews.
  • Coordinate the hiring process by managing communications with candidates throughout the process, preparing salary proposals, offer letters and required hiring documents, documenting systems and updating spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, including orientation, document preparation and logistics.
  • Contribute to employee recognition, health and wellness by participating in projects or activities related to retention and engagement, supporting initiatives aligned with these objectives.
  • Coordinate employee communications via the intranet, including scheduling HR posts to ensure effective information dissemination.
  • Perform any other duties related to the organization’s activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations, or a DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Administration with an HR option, or equivalent training.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office suite).
  • Excellent written and spoken French and a good knowledge of spoken English.
  • Knowledge of BambooHR is an asset.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
