Responsibilities
The Sales Representative (Sales Rep) will be primarily responsible for taking care of our customers by building and sustaining strong, engaged relationships.
This includes assisting in the development of an effective territory marketing plan, as well as capturing market volume and executing our pricing strategy.
This role calls for a high level of collaboration with sales and non-sales teammates within the entire Vulcraft/Verco group in order to drive enterprise-wide results.
The Sales Rep must be willing and able to travel frequently.
Must be willing to relocate to the Houston area (if applicable).
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of customer facing commercial/service experience in the steel or construction industry.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in the Steel Construction industry.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Working knowledge of SAP.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Construction Mgt., or related field.
