About the role

  • Legal Recruiting Intern supporting summer associate and on-campus interview programs at a global law firm. Assisting with recruitment activities and communication with candidates and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination and execution of summer associate and on-campus recruiting programs
  • Communicate effectively with candidates, law schools, and internal stakeholders
  • Provide support in organizing events, meetings, and other recruiting activities
  • Reserve conference rooms for summer associate activities
  • Research event venues and catering options
  • Solicit summer associate feedback
  • Assist with interview scheduling and logistics
  • Organize the collection of student interview feedback
  • Prepare materials for hiring committee meetings
  • Greet candidates for summer associate interviews
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to recruiting activities
  • Track and process summer event expenses
  • Process student and vendor reimbursements
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Active enrollment in undergraduate university strongly preferred
  • Prior professional experience preferred
  • Available to work full-time during the summer and part-time once school resumes
  • Ability to work overtime and outside of regular business hours
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other local offices
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Good judgment and accountability for delivering excellent service
  • Highly organized and exhibit a high-level attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
