About the role

  • As a Bilingual Sales & Customer Service Advisor, engage Dutch and English speaking customers. Provide support and sales assistance in a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in sales conversations by actively listening to the needs and preferences of prospects.
  • Provide accurate and relevant information about products that closely match the customers' needs, encouraging them to make a purchase decision themselves.
  • Guide prospects through the subscription process, helping them transition to becoming customers.
  • Explain all product specifics and subscription options clearly and concisely.
  • Provide support to potential and existing customers via phone, email and text message.
  • Can help the customer manage his subscription in his personal portal.
  • Assist with creating an invoice, invoice issues, changes to customer data, and address general questions.
  • Can help customers change their subscription payment details.
  • Manage administrative tasks efficiently to ensure smooth customer experiences.
  • Handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy, utilizing strong soft skills.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Document complaints and follow-up actions accurately to ensure continuous improvement in service quality.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, fostering trust and loyalty.

Requirements

  • Native-level proficiency in Dutch and English (both spoken and written).
  • Previous experience in a sales and customer care role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Excellent soft skills for handling difficult conversations and building trust.
  • Pro-active approach towards finding & sharing possible improvements regarding the experience of the prospect/ customer.
  • Your communication skills should be on point for confidently interacting with customers.
  • You are a master problem solver, ready to tackle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Juggling tasks and paying attention to detail is your thing, especially in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using computer systems and various software applications.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is necessary.
