About the role

  • Field sales role with Purina Pet Foods Division driving distribution and visibility across pet channels. Plan and deliver targets, strengthen trade relationships, and analyze market potential.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure product availability at all relevant channels within the assigned territory
  • Plan and achieve monthly and yearly sales targets; identify opportunities and potential in the area
  • Maintain and enhance trade relations to drive sustainable growth
  • Execute trade/consumer activations and merchandising (visibility) programs; participate in pet shows and meet veterinary doctors
  • Be accountable for all operational programs and on-ground execution in the assigned area
  • Manage distributor operations: ensure compliance, efficiency, and on-time deliveries; monitor overheads and ensure timely payments
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets for distributors; ensure product availability and merchandising in line with plans
  • Manage the secondary sales force: compliance, trainings, performance evaluations, coordination with distributors, and optimization of expenditure

Requirements

  • 1–7 years of experience in a sales role within the Pet segment/industry
  • Experience in distributor management and secondary sales force oversight, including activations and merchandising
  • Strong communication skills with poise and confidence
  • Analytical, flexible, resourceful, and innovative
  • Graduate degree preferred (any discipline)
