- Senior Pensions Administrator overseeing trust-based company pension schemes administration in Gatwick. Responsible for ensuring compliance with service level agreements and legislation in a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of pension’s administration
- Maintain accurate records for the members in the scheme
- Calculate benefits and provide information to scheme members
- Assist with team projects such as benefit statements, renewals, life assurance and pension increases
- Serve as a first point of contact for member queries
- Attend regular meetings and daily interaction with the Team Leaders and other members of the team
- Ensure the service adheres to the company data and information security policies
Requirements
- Significant experience working as a Senior Pensions Administrator
- In-depth knowledge of both DB & DC pension schemes
- Ability to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all pensions’ administration activities
- Proven experience of all aspects of Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit pensions’ scheme administration
- Carrying out complex pension’s calculations (leavers, retirements, deaths, transfers, etc.)
- Sound knowledge of current pension’s legislation including the Pensions & Finance Acts
- Demonstrate a numerical aptitude evidenced by work related experience or academic achievements
- Experience of checking and mentoring members of an administration team
