About the role

  • Manage and lead the internal and external sales teams nationwide, guiding them in the market to optimize performance and achieve established objectives.
  • Develop and implement the national sales strategy for irrigation equipment, aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Set annual sales targets and objectives by region and team, and monitor progress.
  • Analyze the market and competitors to adapt strategies and remain competitive.
  • Evaluate sales costs and financial risks associated with commercializing the equipment.
  • Analyze sales data and KPIs to identify growth opportunities, anticipate issues, and propose solutions.
  • Control and manage resources available to the sales team, optimizing their use.
  • Maintain strategic contact with existing and prospective customers to strengthen relationships and drive revenue.
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote the company and its equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Business, Commercial Management, or related fields. An engineering degree is considered a plus.
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Commercial Management or related fields is desirable.
  • Proven experience in sales within the agricultural, heavy, or industrial equipment segments.
  • Deep understanding of the market and competitors in the equipment sector.
  • Knowledge of sales processes from prospecting through delivery.
  • Ability to analyze sales metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and reduce costs.
  • Familiarity with CRM software to track and analyze sales data.
  • Knowledge of the financial aspects of sales, such as cost evaluation and risk assessment.
