About the role

Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of sales excellence strategies to continuously and sustainably optimize sales processes and structures
  • Continuous improvement and further development of sales planning and control instruments as well as the use of relevant IT tools (CRM, etc.)
  • Preparation of sales revenue planning in close cooperation with the sales departments and business units
  • Regular collection of sales performance data, quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data, and enhancement of sales reports
  • Preparation of special analyses for divisional management and executive management and participation in other group-wide reporting processes
  • Professional support in developing the overarching sales strategy, preparation of market analyses, and ensuring alignment between strategy and planning
  • Close collaboration with sales departments, business units, the finance department, corporate strategy, and other relevant company areas to ensure efficient task organization and forward-looking direction of the company

Requirements

  • University degree in economics/business administration or equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience in sales controlling or a similar role, ideally in the context of IT/technology project business within a corporate environment
  • Strong numerical understanding and interest in the stories behind the numbers
  • Solid knowledge of CRM systems and other software tools (e.g., MS Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint)
  • Accuracy and reliability as well as initiative, independence, and team spirit
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness combined with presentation and moderation competence
  • Fluent, verifiable German language skills
