Manage and lead the sales team, both domestic and international, focused on developing and maintaining export markets to optimize performance and achieve established goals.
Develop and implement channel development strategies in other countries, aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
Define annual sales targets and objectives by region and by team, monitoring progress.
Analyze the market and competitors to adapt strategies and remain competitive.
Assess sales costs and the financial risks associated with marketing the products.
Analyze sales data and KPIs to identify growth opportunities, anticipate issues and propose solutions.
Control and manage resources available to the sales team, optimizing their use.
Maintain strategic contact with existing and prospective customers to strengthen relationships and drive revenue.
Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote the company and its equipment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Sales Management or related fields. An engineering degree will be considered an advantage.
Postgraduate degree or MBA in Sales Management or related areas is desirable.
Solid sales experience in the engines and equipment segment, such as agricultural, heavy-duty or industrial engines.
Experience selling to markets in Latin America and Africa.
Deep understanding of the market and competitive landscape in the sector.
Knowledge of sales processes from prospecting through delivery.
Ability to analyze sales metrics to identify improvement opportunities and cost-reduction measures.
Familiarity with CRM software to track and analyze sales data.
Knowledge of the financial aspects of sales, such as cost assessment and risk evaluation.
