Responsibilities
Analyze Sales & Global Accounts data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities across markets and product segments.
Convert complex data into clear, actionable insights aligned with Coats’ commercial priorities.
Provide regular performance analysis to support leadership reviews and business planning.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards for key commercial KPIs (sales, margin, pricing, customer performance).
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance in reporting outputs.
Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and enable self-service analytics across teams.
Partner with Sales & Global Accounts teams and provide analytical inputs to maximize profitability and customer value.
Track sales performance against targets and budgets, highlighting variances and root causes.
Identify opportunities to improve revenue, margin, and market share through data-led recommendations.
Support commercial initiatives aimed at improving customer mix and product profitability.
Identify opportunities to streamline commercial and reporting processes using data, tools, and technology.
Drive continuous improvement in analytics workflows and reporting efficiency.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree or equivalent in any commercial discipline.
6+ years of progressive work experience post-MBA in business analytics, data analysis, or a similar role, with a strong focus on commercial insights and profitability.
Proven expertise in Power BI (or similar BI tools like Tableau) with a strong portfolio of developed dashboards and reports.
Coding knowledge will be an added advantage.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Solid understanding of commercial concepts, including sales cycles & market analysis.
Demonstrated ability to manage and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
