Responsibilities
Actively manage existing customers and strategically develop assigned key accounts
Conduct targeted new customer acquisition and implement measures for existing account management
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
Contribute to the strategic direction of the area of responsibility
Responsible for sales planning and price negotiations
Prepare offers and cost calculations
Closely coordinate with production, planning and quality assurance to ensure customer requirements are met
Participate in product development, promotional and sales concepts
Actively participate in daily operational tasks and pragmatically find solutions for short-term challenges
Represent the company group at trade fairs and events
Requirements
Several years of professional sales experience, ideally in the meat industry (experience with beef an advantage)
Strong communication skills and persuasive ability
Strong customer orientation
Confident presence in price and contract negotiations
High level of initiative with a structured and independent working style
Proficient with common MS Office tools and ideally experience with SAP
Independent, target- and result-oriented working style; team player
Business-fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written
