About the role

  • HR Generalist supporting various Human Resources activities in Solar projects across the U.S. Handling employee relations and promoting compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the audit and implementation of the temporary assignment policy for Solar field team members
  • Assist Solar team members on HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Handle employee relations issues, grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions
  • Suggest proactive solutions to address employee and business needs
  • Provide recommendations based on company policies and laws
  • Support offboarding and position elimination activities
  • Partner with HRBP on complex issues
  • Assist with annual performance review process and benefits open enrollment
  • Serve as HR point of contact for field employees
  • Be an advocate for an inclusive work environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a HR Generalist, Employee Relations Specialist, or related role
  • Seasoned skills in managing difficult employee relations situations
  • Knowledge of Human Resources in general
  • Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday
  • Ability to form productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience with Payroll, benefits, and/or open enrollment preferred
  • PHR certification is helpful but not required
  • Bilingual in Spanish required
