About the role

Responsibilities

  • You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store.
  • You navigate confidently between demand-driven purchasing and rapid turnover.
  • You ensure product availability and that the key figures in your area of responsibility are correct.
  • Together with your team, you present merchandise attractively.
  • You provide individual, personal, knowledgeable and warm customer advice and service.
  • You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the associated refrigerated shelves and freezers.
  • Through careful staff scheduling and your ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees, you ensure high team performance.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh food sector or as a butcher.
  • Ideally, a master craftsman qualification in the butcher trade (Meister) or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier.
  • Preferably initial leadership experience in service counters.
  • Excellent knowledge of sausages, meat, cheese and fish products.
  • A sociable, responsible team-player personality.
