Responsibilities
Conduct cold calls and send outbound emails to identify and qualify potential leads
Identify and qualify potential business opportunities through strategic outreach
Follow-up on marketing-generated leads to assess fit and potential for Mimecast products
Work with reseller partners to identify and generate joint opportunities
Research and profile target accounts to identify key decision-makers and stakeholders
Articulate Mimecast’s value proposition in a clear and compelling way
Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and ensure accurate tracking of all activities in the CRM system
Conduct initial needs analysis to understand prospect requirements and challenges
Work closely with Account Executives, marketing teams, and reseller partners to ensure seamless transition of qualified leads
Stay informed about industry trends and customer needs to effectively position the company’s solutions
Schedule qualified meetings with the appropriate sales representatives or AEs
Attend training sessions, stay updated on product developments
Requirements
Experience in tele-sales, business development, or outbound prospecting is a plus
Fluency in English & Italian is required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A motivated self-starter with a desire to exceed targets and grow your sales career
Ability to handle objections and rejection, remaining focused and determined
Experience using sales engagement platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM, and automation tools preferred
Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks at once while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to conduct thorough needs analysis, understand customer pain points, and qualify opportunities effectively
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and channel partners.
