Sales Executive responsible for driving leisure segment revenue and achieving targets for Meliá Hotels in Dubai. Involves proactive sales, account management, and market analysis.
Responsibilities
Driving leisure segment revenue and occupancy in line with the hotel’s commercial strategy
Achieving agreed occupancy and revenue targets for assigned leisure segments
Acquiring new leisure business including FIT, leisure groups, tour operators, incentives, and tour series
Developing and growing existing accounts and geographical markets
Conducting proactive sales calls and scheduling a minimum of 10 sales appointments per week
Negotiating and contracting FIT rates and preparing agreements in a timely manner
Managing room allocations and maintaining accurate account records
Monitoring account productivity, allocation pick-up, and production trends
Preparing monthly production and performance reports
Conducting market and competitive analysis to maintain strong positioning
Representing the hotel at trade shows, sales missions, networking events, and FAM trips
Supporting internal presentations and maintaining strong coordination with Global Sales Offices
Cross-selling other hotel segments including F&B, Meetings & Events, Corporate Residential, and Apartments
Maintaining and updating all customer-relevant data
Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience in hotel sales
Experience in leisure segment, FIT, tour operators or group business preferred
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strategic and analytical mindset
Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
