About the role

  • Principal Consultant providing expert recruitment services to clients in Financial Services, Insurance, and Technology sectors. Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality candidate solutions while supporting client challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Source, build and develop strong candidate and Client relationships.
  • Building and nurturing a strong talent community through networking and conversations.
  • Working with Consultants to understand core client requirements and employer value propositions.
  • Building strong market knowledge of our vertical markets and sharing critical market information with the broader team.
  • Attracting, Advising, Interviewing and Negotiating with high-level candidates to find Win-Win partnerships between clients and candidates.
  • Using Davies suite of technology alongside social media and CV libraries to advertise, market, and source.
  • Develop your knowledge of the wider consulting business areas.
  • Support Clients with a broader set of challenges across technology, learning, insurance and financial services.
  • Demonstrating our values and behaviors to ensure we are providing a best-in-class candidate and client experience.
  • Conduct face to face pre-screening interviews to assess suitability and cultural fit. Working towards becoming a strong objective, in-depth interviewer.
  • Attending Client briefings to assess client requirements alongside your manager.
  • Manage candidates from end to end research/recruit/source/deliver.
  • Provide advice guidance and coaching to candidates on interviewing and skills testing.
  • Build on existing Davies Resourcing candidate relationships and develop your own portfolio of Candidates.
  • Qualify job specifications/salary information and record accurate and comprehensive job descriptions.
  • Manage online advertising across a variety of platforms to widen the talent pool.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, success driven, confident communication skills and an active listener.
  • Someone who enjoys autonomy and building / managing a portfolio of candidates.
  • Enjoys engaging with potential job seekers on the phone, virtually and in person.

  • A general knowledge of the Financial Services Sector (recruitment training and development is offered)
