About the role

  • HR Generalist managing employee lifecycle from recruiting to offboarding at Matera GmbH. Supporting HR processes and providing assistance throughout the organization in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • You manage the entire employee lifecycle – from recruiting through onboarding to offboarding
  • You develop and optimize HR processes and help build core HR foundations such as onboarding materials and the employee handbook
  • You manage our HRIS system (Lucca) and ensure that all employee data is current and accurate
  • You handle contract management as well as the preparation of payroll
  • You are the point of contact for employees and managers and work closely with our Team Lead HR, Cindy, our recruiter Steffen, and our HR student assistants.

Requirements

  • Confident use of HR systems (e.g., Lucca)
  • Good knowledge of labor law, social security, and payroll tax regulations
  • Some experience with payroll
  • Enjoy building HR structures in a growing company
  • You speak German at C2 level and English fluently
