About the role
- HR Generalist managing employee lifecycle from recruiting to offboarding at Matera GmbH. Supporting HR processes and providing assistance throughout the organization in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- You manage the entire employee lifecycle – from recruiting through onboarding to offboarding
- You develop and optimize HR processes and help build core HR foundations such as onboarding materials and the employee handbook
- You manage our HRIS system (Lucca) and ensure that all employee data is current and accurate
- You handle contract management as well as the preparation of payroll
- You are the point of contact for employees and managers and work closely with our Team Lead HR, Cindy, our recruiter Steffen, and our HR student assistants.
Requirements
- Confident use of HR systems (e.g., Lucca)
- Good knowledge of labor law, social security, and payroll tax regulations
- Some experience with payroll
- Enjoy building HR structures in a growing company
- You speak German at C2 level and English fluently
