About the role

  • Inside Sales Representative driving the full cycle sales process for digital advertising clients at Viasat. Join a trailblazing internet provider revolutionizing in-flight connectivity for major airlines.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and execute the full sales cycle with an assigned book of business which could include new and/or dormant customers.
  • Understand and execute the lead management process to include lead generation, scheduled meetings, account optimization, follow up and hand offs through continued support.
  • Daily tasks include outreach, introduction calls, presentations, and basic problem solving.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly assigned quotas by tracking progress and performance.
  • Effectively communicate with customers and provide sales support to close deals.
  • Participate in regular 1:1’s with manager to review business and performance results.
  • Adopt and master company provided sales process to ensure consistent quota attainment.
  • Prepare for engagement with customers through industry, company, and product research.
  • Accurately maintain CRM data points to enable data driven strategic plans and to surface valuable customer insights.
  • Exhibit professionalism through continued learning, organization, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Other applicable duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Successful track record in previous sales roles; B2B or Digital Advertising experience preferred
  • Computer literate and familiar with programs such as Microsoft Office, Google Tools, CRM’s (and/or specific tools if required).
  • Demonstrate verbal and written skills that effectively communicate with customers via phone, virtual, email, presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Motivated to learn to handle high pressure situations, objections, and concerns when working with customers.
  • Individual who consistently demonstrates confidence, ambition, adaptability, and resilience in tasks and engagements with others.
  • Ability to execute proven processes and analyze data to make informed decisions, find creative solutions, and solve problems.
  • Able to manage time in a structured and organized way to ensure deadlines are met and quotas are obtained.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and to work collaboratively with teams across the organization
  • Sales Degree / Sales Certifications are a bonus
  • Familiarity with reporting and sales analytics is preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in sales, technology, and/or account management preferred
